Collection: Retro Rectangles

Retro Rectangles is a hand-drawn tale told through mid-century shapes filtered through a series of color palettes that tell the story of a Friday in your 30’s. The off-kilter spacing of each imperfect block and playful palettes capture that push-pull between the daily grind and blowing off a bit of steam.

The events of an evening told through a series of color schemes:

The OG – retro warm tones that started it all, back when burnout was still cute
Downtown Dusk – moody cools for the introvert who still has to go outside
Traffic Jam – stuck, loud, and slightly unhinged (but with good color blocking)
Happy Hour – bold and buzzy, like you said “just one drink” and then emotionally overshared
Party Time – all vibes, no timeline, with color combos that don’t even try to be quiet
Last Call – dark, moody greens and yellows like you stayed out too late with too many feelings
I’m Faded – dreamy and soft much like the last clean thought before bedtime or burnout
Clouded Beach – a summer day with a thunderstorm-shaped cloud, just like your head after a night out
